Embrace change and transform your life today!

In the morning sow your seed, and at evening withhold not your hand, for you do not know which will prosper, this or that, or whether both alike will be good. Ecclesiates 11:6
Have you ever watched a tiny bee or a graceful butterfly flit from one flower to another? Maybe you live on a farm and have watched cows graze in one spot for a very long time?
One thing the bee, the butterfly, and cows all have in common is that once they have had enough nectar or grass, because the food supply or energy source has run out… they move on. Even nursing babies practice this principle. Once the milk has “dried up,” they move to the next breast, or if older, they start to eat more substantial foods. All these creatures teach us a valuable lesson. It is time to start something new.
Are you afraid to start something new? I remember when I graduated college, I wanted to do something different. I wanted to treat myself by traveling to places that I had never been. My colleague and I decided to go to Nassau,Bahamas. It was fun. I saw many things I had never seen and tried many new things I had never done,... like parasailing. I had to cast fear aside to accomplish my goals, and it was worth it!
Have you placed your dreams on pause because of this and that? Have you become stuck in the same routines, and have found them to be unfulfilling? Are you trying to be a healthier you? Perhaps you are in the wrong place, with the wrong person, and having them in your life has become a hindrance rather than a help?
Let me clarify. I am not talking about marriage relationships or obligations to raising a family. I am not endorsing leaving a friend or significant other because you want to gain popularity or prove some vain point. I am talking about allowing your former dreams to rust because you have settled for less than God’s calling for you. Like God asked Elijah when he ran from Jezebel, ”...What are you doing there?” Get up! Go!
In Isaiah 43:19, God promises something beautiful! He said, “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." [Song]
Friends, God wants to do a new and better thing in your life and mine! He wants to give us a heart that believes that He can do EXCEEDINGLY, ABUNDANTLY, ABOVE ALL THAT WE MAY ASK,...OR THINK! Ephesians 3:20. This promise is only activated when we allow God to have power… the say… in our next steps. What are you waiting for… What is God asking you to do now? It is time to start something new! Embrace change and transform your life today!
And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and
will multiply thee exceedingly. Genesis 17:2
